Is this the MySpace era of crypto?

Saw this today and loved it:

We're in the MySpace era of web3.
Imagine when the Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok eras hit.

The best of crypto is still yet to come. I believe that. There’s some amazing teams and products and interfaces and ideas and opportunities right now but it’s so early still.

Another way to think about this is to go back and look at the original Google homepage vs the current iteration. Successful things get refined over time. Also, Google the company changed a lot since it first debuted (not just it’s website design). Successful things grow over time as well.

Crypto is already successful and it’s various touch points will get redesigned and the space will grow. I’m excited to see it. Why? Keep reading…

I’m not from Canada. I don’t know what it’s like on the front lines of the protests there. Regardless, though, of any political leanings you have… well… did you see this announcement?

“With no need for a court order, banks will be able freeze personal accounts of anyone linked with the protests.” This time it’s “their” protest. Next time it’s yours. The banking system should not be a weapon used by governments on their people. We need a new banking system.

Don’t worry, @JustinTrudeau isn’t “calling in the military”. He is just authorizing banks to unilaterally freeze your accounts on the basis of suspicion alone, no court order required, with legal immunity. I hope everyone realizes how much more dangerous this is than the military
